The Creator Experience Explained

Step-by-step guidance for every feature — from building your profile to managing live calls and tracking earnings.

Setting Up Your Profile

Your profile is what fans see when they visit your booking link. A complete, professional profile builds trust and increases the likelihood that visitors become paying fans.

Profile Picture

Upload a clear, high-quality photo of yourself. This is the first thing fans see. Use a well-lit, recent image where your face is clearly visible. Avoid using logos, group photos, or low-resolution images as your profile picture.

Cover Photo

Your cover photo is the banner image displayed at the top of your profile page. Use it to set the mood and reflect your brand — this could be a lifestyle photo, an artistic shot, or something related to what you offer on calls. Aim for a wide, horizontal image at high resolution.

Name and Bio

Your display name should match how your fans know you. Your bio is a short description of who you are and what fans can expect from a session with you. Write it in your own voice — clear, engaging, and specific enough that a new visitor immediately understands what you're about and why they should book.

Media

You can upload additional photos and videos to your profile beyond your profile picture and cover photo. This media appears on your profile page and gives fans a richer sense of you and your work. Add clips, photos, or anything that represents what a session with you is like.

Profile Preview

Before publishing or sharing your booking link, use the profile preview feature to see exactly what fans will see when they visit your page. Review the layout, check that all text reads correctly, and confirm your packages appear as intended.

Creating Packages

What Is a Package?

A package is a defined offering fans can book. Every package has a title, a duration, a price, and a description. When a fan visits your booking page, they see your available packages and choose the one that fits what they want.

Creating a Package

To create a package, go to your dashboard and find the Packages section. Click to add a new package. You'll be asked to:

  • Set a title (e.g., "Quick Chat," "Extended Session," "Coaching Call")
  • Choose a duration in minutes
  • Set a price in USD
  • Write a description — explain what fans can expect from this session

Once created, the package is immediately visible on your booking page (provided you have availability configured).

Managing Multiple Packages

You can have multiple packages active at the same time. This lets you offer different price points and session lengths. For example, a 5-minute quick hello at a lower price and a 30-minute conversation at a higher price. Fans pick based on what they want and can afford.

Editing and Deleting Packages

You can edit a package's title, description, and price at any time. Changes take effect immediately for new bookings — they don't affect sessions that have already been booked. To remove a package, delete it from your dashboard. It will no longer appear on your booking page.

Pricing Tips

Price your time intentionally. Consider what an hour of your time is worth, then price shorter packages proportionally. You don't have to underprice to attract fans — fans who book at low prices aren't always your best fans. See Best Practices for more pricing guidance.

Configuring Your Availability

Weekly Schedule

Your weekly schedule defines the days and hours you're open for bookings each week. Go to the Availability section of your dashboard and set which days of the week you're available, and the start and end times for each day. This schedule repeats weekly until you change it.

Daily Breaks

A daily break is a recurring period each day when you're unavailable, even during your normal available hours. For example, if you're available 10am–6pm but want no bookings from 12pm–1pm, configure a daily break for that period. This block repeats on every day you're marked as available.

Buffer Times

Buffer time is the gap Vidor adds after each session before the next one can start. If you set a 15-minute buffer, a fan can't book a session that starts within 15 minutes of when your previous session ends. Use buffer time to decompress, prepare, or handle any follow-up between calls.

Calendar View

Your availability calendar shows a visual overview of your upcoming schedule — which slots are open, which are booked, and any blocked periods. Use it to spot gaps, confirm you haven't over-scheduled yourself, and see your week at a glance.

Adjusting Specific Days

You can override your weekly schedule for specific dates. For example, if you're normally available on Tuesdays but you have a conflict next Tuesday, you can block that day without changing your overall weekly schedule. You can also add availability on days you'd normally be unavailable.

Your Booking Link

Finding Your Link

Your booking link is visible in your dashboard, typically in a prominent location near the top. It looks like vidor.link/yourcreatorname. You can copy it directly from there.

Where to Share It

Put your booking link anywhere your audience can find it: your Instagram bio, TikTok bio, Twitter/X bio, Linktree, website, YouTube description, newsletter, or in direct messages with fans who ask about booking. The more visible it is, the more bookings you'll get.

What Fans See

When a fan visits your booking link, they see your public profile — your cover photo, profile picture, name, bio, media, creator rules, and your available packages. They click a package to proceed, then choose a time slot from your open availability, and complete payment. The entire flow is handled on Vidor.

Managing Bookings

Viewing Bookings

All your bookings — upcoming, active, and past — are visible from your dashboard. Upcoming bookings are listed in chronological order. You can see the fan's name, the package booked, the date and time, and the amount paid.

Booking Details

Click any booking to see full details: the fan's display name, the session duration, the scheduled time, the package they selected, any notes they submitted at booking, and the payment amount. You can't see fans' private contact details.

Joining a Session

When it's time for a session, go to your dashboard and find the upcoming booking. A "Join" button becomes active shortly before the scheduled start time. Click it to enter the call interface. The fan is held in a waiting room until you're ready — you admit them when you're set to begin.

Cancellations

Fans can cancel bookings, and you can cancel bookings in cases where it's necessary. Cancellations are subject to the refund policy outlined in Cancellations & Refunds. If you cancel a booking, the fan receives a full refund. Repeated cancellations on your end may affect your standing on the platform.

During a Call

The Call Interface

The call interface shows your video feed and the fan's video feed. There are controls for muting your microphone, turning off your camera, and ending the session. A timer shows how much time remains in the session based on the package duration.

In-Call Messaging

There is a text chat panel within the call interface. You and the fan can send text messages during the session. This is useful for sharing links, responding to something without interrupting the audio, or communicating if there are audio issues.

Receiving Tips

During the call, fans can send you tips using their tokens. When a fan sends a tip, you'll see a notification in the call interface. Tips go directly to your earnings (minus the platform fee) and are held in escrow with the standard holding period.

Receiving Gifts

Fans can browse your gift menu during the call and purchase gifts using their tokens. When a gift is purchased, you'll see a notification. Gift purchases earn you tokens at the price you set when you created the gift, minus the platform fee.

Ending the Session

When the session timer runs out, the call ends automatically. You can also end the session manually using the end-session button in the interface. If a fan's behavior violates your creator rules or Vidor's platform policies, you can end the session early and report the fan afterward.

Your Dashboard

Dashboard Link

Your dashboard is your home base on Vidor. Access it by logging in at vidor.link and navigating to your dashboard.

At-a-Glance Earnings

The dashboard shows your current earnings balance — how much you've earned, how much is in escrow or pending, and how much is available for your next payout. This updates after each session and transaction.

Upcoming Bookings

The dashboard displays your next scheduled sessions so you always know what's coming up. You'll see the fan name, session time, and package for each upcoming booking.

Recent Transactions

A transactions panel shows your recent earnings activity — session payments, tips, gifts, and payouts. Each transaction shows the type, amount, date, and status (such as pending, in escrow, available, or paid out).

Setting Your Rules

What Are Creator Rules?

Creator rules are guidelines you set for your sessions. They appear on your booking page so fans know what to expect before they book. Rules help you attract the right fans and reduce friction during calls.

Examples of Rules

  • Topics you're happy to discuss and topics you won't engage with
  • Whether or not NSFW content is permitted (subject to platform policies)
  • Language requirements (e.g., English only)
  • Behavior expectations (e.g., no harassment, be respectful)
  • What the session format will look like

Configuring Rules

Go to your profile settings and find the Creator Rules section. Write your rules in clear, plain language. Be direct — fans will read this before booking. After saving, your rules appear on your public profile page.

Account and Security

Signing In

Sign in to Vidor using your registered email address and password. If you've enabled two-factor authentication, you'll also need to complete that step.

Notification Settings

You can configure which notifications you receive and how. Options typically include email notifications for new bookings, reminders before sessions, and payout confirmations. Find these settings in your account settings panel.

Account and Security Settings

Your account settings panel gives you access to your profile information, notification preferences, security settings, and payout account configuration. Keep this information up to date.

Changing Your Password

To change your password, go to Account Settings and select the password change option. You'll need to enter your current password, then set a new one. Choose a strong, unique password you don't use elsewhere.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your account. When enabled, you'll need to provide a code from an authenticator app in addition to your password each time you sign in. Enable 2FA from your security settings. It's strongly recommended for all creators.

Active Sessions

In your security settings, you can view a list of active sessions — devices and locations where your account is currently signed in. If you see any sessions you don't recognize, sign out of them immediately and change your password.
